(More customer reviews)I purchased this a little over a year ago because I couldn't afford to spend 5K on an all grain home brewing system like a brew magic.Don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to afford one, but until I can this piece is central to my home brew set up!

I was able to mount (screw) securely a magnetic pump to one of the legs.Every other weekend I'm able to do 5 gallon all grain brew projects.One burner is for my HLT, with water conveyed via the pump to the other burner with my mash tun.The only draw back is that I do have to run into a brew kettle off the unit and then move the HLT to free up that burner for the kettle.I'm looking to eventually connect this unit to a single unit (once I find a single unit to match this units height) and then do all wort movement via a second pump (and thus eliminating the need to free up the HLT space for the kettle).

For a home brewer, this unit allows for a bit of creativity in opening the door to begin crafting a sculpture of your own (sure I read BYO, but I don't MIG weld and god save you if you decide to buy stainless steel and have it shipped to you!Ouch!)This unit has been the base for close to 120 gallons a year of beer brewing, and all for less then 300 dollars start up(pump, unit cover and LPG ). If you're on the fence trying to decide what to do and how to go about setting up a home brew sculpture, I hope you find this review!

One of the racks over the burner is slanted as the screw top for the holes for the top to screw into the counter is in the way of where the hole for the rack is supposed to go. We bought two of these stove tops and they are not holding up after only two months of use.

(More customer reviews)I bought mine several years ago, and I hope its reliability has improved. Although the fit and finish have held up we had problems early on. The electrical system is very sensitive and sometimes the ignighterswant to keep going after the gas has been lit. The oven can unpredictably shut off especially when lowering the temperature for some cooking reason.

There is one large burner, two medium burners and a small one. This is convenient if the style of your cooking allows moving pots around for the heat intensity desired. If you want three of four uniform burners, this isn't for you.

Also, the SIZE is NOMINALLY 24" but it is actually 23 3/8", at least that's what mine measures. This is important if you are replacing a 24" range in an installed counter opening like I was. You will have a gap to fill or accept it with this range.

Warranty repair service was very good in my area...3 times. Essentially the electrical system was replaced and I still have the unexpected shut off from time to time. You can relight the open by pushing the starter. But if you don't catch the shutdown quickly, it could mess up a recipe.

I don't use the broiler. When I broil meats, I use the barby outside. It may be ok for browning or quick heat, but I don't know.

I paid half the price for mine, picked up from a local appliance dealer. In 24" you don't have too many choices, but Sears and Home Depot have one each with electrical igniters, including Tappan and Hotpoint. Neither has the stainless steel or the sealed burners.

I recommend contacting BuildersDepot.com on line or by phone before you buy for their opinion of the recent unit. I have found them to be responsive about other products. They are the supplier of this item for Amazon and you can also by direct from them. Compare prices. Maybe Amazon will beat the price with free shipping. My problems with older range may have been addressed in the years since I bought it.

Pros: -The food comes out tasting just like you had grilled it outside.
-Easy cleaning.Dishwasher safe and or pop in your self cleaning oven.

Cons: -The lid is not high enough.When I try to finish artichokes on the grill the lid is to small to cover them.
-It can create a lot of smoke and flare ups.I wouldn't recommend it unless you have lots of windows.
